Polityka prywatności rozszerzenia przeglądarki ActiSignal
Obowiązuje od 15 października 2026 r. · English version below
1. Kto odpowiada za dane
Rozszerzenie przeglądarki ActiSignal jest częścią systemu ActiSignal dostarczanego przez „GRIFF SOFTWARE” Paweł Rudnicki, ul. Cedrowa 23a, 70-776 Szczecin, NIP 9552521486, REGON 383733190 („Griff Software”, „my”).
3. Jak dane są przekazywane
Rozszerzenie nie wysyła niczego do internetu i niczego nie przechowuje w przeglądarce. Nazwę hosta przekazuje wyłącznie Agentowi ActiSignal zainstalowanemu na tym samym komputerze (mechanizm „native messaging”). Agent liczy czas tylko wtedy, gdy przeglądarka jest aktywnym oknem i komputer jest używany, pomija domeny wykluczone przez organizację i przesyła nazwę hosta, nazwę przeglądarki oraz czas do konta ActiSignal organizacji szyfrowanym połączeniem HTTPS.
6. Kto ma dostęp
Administratorzy ActiSignal w Twojej organizacji, w raportach.
ActiSignal browser extension privacy policy
Effective 15 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
The ActiSignal browser extension is part of ActiSignal, provided by "GRIFF SOFTWARE" Paweł Rudnicki, ul. Cedrowa 23a, 70-776 Szczecin, Poland, tax id (NIP) 9552521486, REGON 383733190 ("Griff Software", "we"). It is installed by the organization that uses ActiSignal — usually your employer. That organization is the data controller and decides whether website data is collected at all. Griff Software processes the data on its behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement.
2. What the extension processes
- The host name of the active tab in the focused browser window, for example
docs.github.com. - The browser name (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera) and whether its window has the focus.
The extension never reads or passes on full addresses (paths, search terms, query strings, fragments), page titles or content, form fields, passwords, typed text, cookies, screenshots, or anything from private (Incognito / InPrivate) windows.
3. How the data is passed on
The extension sends nothing to the internet and stores nothing in the browser. It hands the host name only to the ActiSignal Agent installed on the same computer (native messaging). The Agent counts time only while the browser is in the foreground and the computer is in use, drops domains the organization excluded, and sends the host name, browser name and time to the organization's ActiSignal account over encrypted HTTPS.
4. When the extension works
Recording website domains is off by default; the extension works only after the organization turns it on. The browser then shows that it is managed by the organization and lists the extension. When recording is turned off, the extension is removed from the browsers.
5. Purpose
Only to show the organization, in ActiSignal reports, how working time is spent across websites. The data is not sold, not used for advertising or creditworthiness, and not transferred for purposes unrelated to this one.
6. Who has access
Your organization's ActiSignal administrators, in reports. A domain used by fewer than three people is named only to administrators allowed to see individual activity. Griff Software staff have access only as needed to operate and support the service, as agreed with the organization.
7. Where and how long
On servers in a data centre in Poland. Detailed records are deleted after the period set for the organization (90 days by default, 30 to 365 days); daily totals after 730 days.
8. Your rights
For access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection, contact your organization as the controller — ActiSignal lets it export and erase an employee's data. You can also write to us at p.j.rudnicki@gmail.com; we will pass your request to the organization. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
9. Changes
Changes to this policy are published on this page with the date from which the new version applies.
